Warranty Policy

TYRE WARRRANTY COVERAGE - All new PC, SUV & LT tyre/s marketed & sold by Falken Tyre India
Private Limited (FTI) are covered under this warranty policy, limited to only manufacturing defects in accordance with terms and condition mentioned below. This warranty is valid only for original buyer of the tyre/s and is non-transferable.

TYRE WARRANTY PERIOD -  All tyre/s are covered under the warranty policy for a period  of 5 years from  the date of manufacturing or till 1.6 mm remaining tread depth, whichever is earlier.

TYRE INSPECTION - Tyre/s under complaint will be examined and inspected by FTI authorized person and their disposition of the complaint/failure shall be final.

BENEFIT TO THE CUSTOMER: During the inspection if any manufacturing defect is reported by FTI authorized person, FTI shall replace the tyre/s of the similar size and specification on Pro-rata basis.

Customer shall be required to pay the depreciation amount on a Pro-rata calculation. The following formula will be applicable to determine the depreciation amount/claim tyre/s cost: 

Claim Tyre Cost = Tyre Basic Price X Worn out Tread Depth/Original Tread Depth + Applicable Taxes.

WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS - The tyre warranty does not cover unserviceable conditions caused/arising due to :-
a) Wheel misalignment, wheel imbalance, improper/no tyre/s rotation, any vehicle related defects.
b) Accidental damages, road hazards, impact breaks, improper inflation.
c) Improper mounting / demounting, tread cut, side-wall cut, run flat.
d) Improper repair, willful abuse, engaging in road racing or competition.
e) Flat spot on tyre/s due to long term static position of Car with tyre/s mounted.

WARRANTY NON COVERAGE - The warranty also do not cover:-
a) Irregular/premature tread wear, ride complaints after initial 1.6 mm wear.
b) Tyre with manipulation including re-treading / buffing.
c) Improper fitment/application of the tyre/s size & LI/SS.
d)Tyre purchase from unauthorized dealer network/channel/ online market places.

INCIDENTAL CHARGES - Falken Tyre India Private Limited (FTI) shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss/damage including loss of use of vehicle, loss or damage caused to any person or property by or arising out of use of the tyre/s.

REJECTED TYRE STORAGE - All rejected claimed tyre/s if not collected within 21 days of disposition will be disposed off without any prior intimation. FTI or its authorized dealer will not be liable for any loss after the disposal.

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE IN BRIEF - In case of tyre/s becoming unserviceable with in the terms & conditions of the Company warranty policy, a warranty claim shall be lodged by the Customer along with Original Warranty Card and Purchase Invoice with a FTI authorized dealer or FTI Customer Care. The same shall be inspected by FTI authorized person and their disposition shall be final and binding.

DISCLAIMER - FTI will not be liable for any statement, promise, commitment or agreement made by its dealers, employees and representatives, except as stated herein.

AMENDMENT - FTI reserves all rights to cancel and/or modify part and/or entire Warranty Policy/ies without any notice in advance.

ARBITRATION - All disputes arising between the Customer and the Company with regard to any claim adjustment shall be subject to arbitration at Gurgaon by a sole Arbitrator appointed by the Company.

POLICY - “Free Road Hazard Warranty Policy” is applicable on entire range of tyres marketed and sold by Falken Tyre India Private Limited, for a period of up to 2 years from date of purchase or up to 50% of tread wear, whichever is earlier,on Pro-rata basis.

TERMS & CONDITION - Free Road Hazard warranty policy is applicable for customers, who have completed the warranty registration process at the time of tyre/s purchase.

Free Road Hazard Warranty is only applicable on new tyre purchase and not valid on any claim replacement tyre/s.

To avail the benefits of the above policy, warranty registration is mandatory,which can be done via
a) Registering on our website www.falkentyre.in or
b) By calling on our Toll Free Hotline no. 1800-103-9696(Monday - Saturday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm) or
c) By emailing to customer_services@falkentyre.in

Prior to registration, the Customer must carefully read and agree to the terms and conditions of Falken
“Free Road Hazard Warranty Policy”.(Visit www.falkentyre.in/warranty for more information on the policy).

To avail the benefits of the above warranty shall be subject to production and verification of the following documents:-
a) Original warranty card duly filled and stamped.
b) Purchase proof/ Invoice copy (stating date of purchase).
c) Vehicle Registration Copy/ ID Proof.

WARRANTY COVERAGE:
a) Accidental damages/Through cuts.
b) Impact break damages on Tread & Sidewall.
c) Run flat damages.
d) Non - repairable damage/through cuts on tread area.
e) Non - repairable damage/through cuts on side walls.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:
a) Any intentional damages.
b) Un-even tread wear caused due to mechanical irregularities.
c) Mounting/demounting damages.
d) Gaiter damages, Damages due to repairing.
e) Wrong fitments, Nail holes, minor repairable damage/s as confirmed by “Falken Service Personnel”.
f) Tyre purchase from unauthorized dealer network/channel/ online market places.
