1) TYRE WARRANTY ELIGIBILITY
The warranty applies to all Passenger Car / SUV/LTR Tyres sold only by authorized dealer of Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd.
2) TYRE WARRANTY COVERAGE
All tyres shall be covered under warranty for only manufacturing defects.
3) TYRE WARRANTY PERIOD
All tyres shall be warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of manufacturing OR till 1.6 mm remaining tread depth in the tyre, whichever occurs first.
4) TYRE INSPECTION
Tyre under complaint will be examined and inspected by Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. Service Engineer or any authorised person and their disposition on the fault shall be final.
5) BENEFIT TO THE CUSTOMER
In case of manufacturing defect Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. shall reimburse the claim tyre cost to the customer which shall be calculated on the basis of tyre usage, the degree of wearing. In other words, the so called, “remaining tread depth” measurement system will be applied. The following Formula will be applicable for arriving at the benefit to be passed to the customer.
Claim Tyre Cost = Tyre Basic Price x Worn out Tread Depth / Original Tread Depth + applicable VAT
6) WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS
The tyre warranty does not cover unserviceable conditions arose due to
• Wheel Misalignment, Wheel Imbalance, Vehicle Mechanical Defects,
• Accidental Damage, Road Hazards, Impact Break, Improper Inflation,
• Improper Mounting / Demounting, Tread Cut, Side-Wall Cut, Run Flat,
• Improper Repair, Wilful Abuse, Engaging in Road Racing or Competition
7) WARRANTY NON COVERAGE
The warranty also do not cover
• Tyre purchased from Unauthorised Channel/Dealer
• Irregular Tread / Premature Wear, Ride Complaints after 1.6 mm initial wear,
• Tyre with manipulation., Re-treaded / Buffed Tyre
• Tyre with less than 1.6 mm remaining Tread Depth
• Improper application of the Tyre Size
8) INCIDENTAL CHARGES
Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any incidental charges occurred for demounting and mounting of tyre, wheel balancing or alignment under gone with respect to extend the warranty, any loss of time, loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience or consequential damage in so far as the law permit.
9) REJECTED TYRE STORAGE
In case tyre gets rejected, Falken tyre India Pvt. Ltd. shall only be responsible for storage of Rejected tyre at the dealers place only for 21 days after the disposition. If the casing is not collected within this specified period the same will be scrapped.
Customer shall be informed both through hard copy and phone call the disposition of the claim tyre ( both for Rejection or adjustment) along with the amount to be paid in case of claim being passed / adjusted.
11) ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE IN BRIEF
Claim against the tyre which has become unserviceable within the terms of the Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. Warranty Policy shall be lodged with an authorised Falken Tyre dealer. The same will be inspected by Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. Service Engineer or any authorised person and the disposition given by them shall be deemed as final. If the tyre is technically adjustable customer has to pay for the usage which will be calculated on the basis of remaining tread depth. All taxes will be borne by the customer. Rejected tyre casing has to be collected by the customer within 21 days of disposition.
Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any promise, commitment or agreement made by its dealers, employees or representatives over and above the upper stated procedure of tyre adjustment.
Falken Tyre India Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or change part of the entire above Warranty Policy without any notice in advance.
On any dispute arising between the Customer and the Company with regard to the claim adjustment all arbitrations will fall in the District Court of Gurgaon.
